Dear Students, Parents and Teachers,
The PYP Exhibition is a culmination of all the learning experiences in the final year of the Primary Years Programme. Over different periods of time – some of our Grade 6 students have been at the Canadian School of Warsaw since they were 5 years old, others joined our school when they were 8; we even had some sixth graders join the school at the beginning of this academic year - and yet, they all have learned through the inquiry process. Students have developed numerous skills across disciplines including research and thinking skills, communication skills, self-management, and social skills. They’ve explored issues that are significant locally and globally. They’ve learned to reflect on their learning and set new learning goals. And now the role of the PYP Exhibition was to provide our students with the opportunity to synthesize their learning and to demonstrate their engagement with the five essential elements of the Primary Years Programme - knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, and action

As a self-initiated inquiry, the Exhibition becomes more significant to the students when they are empowered to lead the learning. They have been guided through the process of designing questions, central ideas, lines of inquiry, key and related concepts. They have been gathering information from primary and secondary sources, interpreting this information and analyzing data. They have been reflecting and making actions. And finally, their goal has been to share their knowledge with CSW’s community during a live Exhibition event on May 10, 2022.[...]
